Day 1: Pick-up from Surabaya or Malang – Tumpak Sewu Waterfall – Bromo Hotel

Start your day with a morning pick-up from Surabaya or Malang. Drive directly to the Tumpak Sewu area, which takes approximately 3 hours. Enjoy the natural beauty of Tumpak Sewu Waterfall. Afterward, transfer to your hotel in Bromo, a 4-5 hour drive. Check-in to the hotel and rest.

Day 2: Bromo Sunrise Tour – Ijen Hotel

Wake up at 3 am. Your jeep driver will pick you up from the hotel to go to Penanjakan Sunrise Viewpoint. Witness the breathtaking sunrise in Bromo and admire the scenic landscape featuring Mount Batok, Mount Bromo, Mount Widodaren, and the background of Mount Semeru.
Next, descend to the sea of Bromo sand. From there, either walk or rent a horse to visit the Luhur Poten temple at the foot of Mount Bromo and climb the Bromo Crater.
After the Bromo tour, return to the jeep for transfer back to the hotel. Have breakfast, check out, and continue to the hotel in Ijen, a 5-6 hour drive. Check-in to the hotel and rest.

Day 3: Ijen Crater Blue Fire – Drop Off Ketapang

Wake up at 12 p.m. Your driver will take you to Paltuding (the starting point for climbing) with a driving time of about 1.5 hours. Once at the Paltuding parking area, a local guide will accompany you to the top of Mount Ijen, a 1.5-hour climb.
Witness the mesmerizing blue fire of Ijen, the sunrise, and the view of the sulfur crater lake. After enjoying the natural beauty of Mount Ijen, descend to the parking area. Prepare to return to Surabaya, which takes about 6-7 hours, or transfer to the ferry port to Bali, a 1.5-hour drive. Tour ends.
